i use this book almost daily. it has made a huge difference in my life and my family's diet. - Weston A. Price found that cultures with "primitive" diets had low incidence of modern diease; his findings are detailed in Nutrition and Physical Degeneration

- Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats, by Sally Fallon -- i don't like the negative tone, but very helpful book

and Disease-Proof Your Child: Feeding Kids Right, by Joel Fuhrman -- taught me the importance of lots of veggies, especially dark leafy greens. relies heavily on the china study, the limitations of which its author admits to and beyondveg details.
- Primal Blueprint / Mark's Daily Apple, by Mark Sisson -- i think this guy's got a lot right: the more we live like his "Grok," the better off we'll be. i also like that in his forums he is willing to let new information guide him away from previous opinions.
